Energy & Utilities Independent Assessment Service shortlisted for Utility Week Awards
The Energy & Utilities Independent Assessment Service (EUIAS) has been named as a finalist for the Supply Chain Excellence award at the Utility Week Awards. The ceremony, taking place at Park Lane’s Grosvenor House Hotel on 10 December 2018, is regarded as one of the most prestigious dates in the sector’s calendar.
Submissions in the Supply Chain Excellence category had to include how the entrant has created a culture of innovation, provide examples, show how innovation has improved company performance and list the measures they have taken to ensure innovation continues into the future.
Being shortlisted as a finalist is the second commendation in quick succession for the Energy & Utilities Independent Assessment Service – its Associate Director, Dr Jacqueline Hall received a Special Award for ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Sector’ at September’s People in Power Awards from the National Skills Academy for Power.
She said: “Being named on the shortlist is very welcome news for the team at the Energy & Utilities Independent Assessment Service.
“We are particularly proud of our work to create high quality, rigorous, robust end-point assessment within safety critical industries. To date we have 614 graduate apprentices across the power, water and gas industries”.
