Dr Jacqueline Hall wins ‘outstanding contribution to the sector’ award at National Skills Academy for Power Awards
Dr Jacqueline Hall, Associate Director of the Energy & Utilities Independent Assessment Service (EUIAS), was awarded the Outstanding Contribution to the sector award at the National Skills Academy for Power (NSAP) People in Power Awards 2018.
The annual National Skills Academy for Power (NSAP) People in Power Awards, attended by over 200 representatives from across the power industry, took place on Wednesday 12 September at the home of England’s football team, St. George’s Park.
The awards ceremony consisted of eight categories, recognising skills, enthusiasm and commitment and was sponsored by major employers within the industry including Electricity North West, E.ON, Lowri Beck, Northern Powergrid, Scottish Power, SSE, and UK Power Networks.
There was a host of winners on the night; from rising stars in the industry, to celebrated commitments in health & safety. In addition, there were two special achievement awards presented on the night. Among the winners was the EUIAS’s Dr Jacqueline Hall.
Dr. Hall took home the award for Outstanding Contribution to the Sector. The award recognises Jacqueline’s achievement in forging a high-quality independent assessment service for the energy and utilities sector – which through her determination and leadership, has passed one in five* of all apprentices in England – almost 90% of which are power apprentices.
Dr Jacqueline Hall commented: “I am delighted to accept this special award on behalf of my outstanding team who work tirelessly to design, develop and deliver high quality end-point assessment which meets the needs of industry, our customers and provides apprentices with an opportunity to shine”.
